I was looking for a lot to build a mountain get-away. I had viewed some lots online and took a ride up to Murphy NC to casually look at them. One of the lots we looked at was not the greatest, but we decided to drive up to the top of Five Forks to check out the view. When we got to the top, the view was simply stunning. A Chevy Silverado backed up and the driver asked us a few questions. By sheer luck, John Poltrock happened to be up there looking at a property to list. He advised me of a lot available with the awesome view, and it happened to be at a very attractive price.
John offered some very good referrals for a surveyor and builder. His Gotta Guy List was extremely helpful! After a few weeks contemplating the purchase, we made an offer. John was very professional and responsive. I will also note that while we were just looking, John was never pushy or rude.
In the end, I feel we bought a great lot at a great price! We believe John is a great Realtor and would recommend him very highly!
