After MANY months of 64 between Tennessee and Murphy NC being closed from a major rock slide, it is now open to traffic! In fact, Tennessee threw a celebration party open to all the day it opened.
The slide caused business disruptions and some to even close since many businesses relied on the traffic to and from Tennessee to Murphy.
Now you can enjoy the gorgeous drive, shop, wine, dine, and so much more! It beats the heck out of the REALLY long detour 🙂
