Wildcat Subdivision is located in the Martins Creek community in Murphy NC and is widely regarded as one of Murphy’s finest. It’s a gated subdivision with paved roads, underground utilities, a system of shared wells, and some beautiful homes. It features creeks, some spectacular long range mountain views, and is stable and established. It’s a great place!
Types of Homes in Wildcat
Wildcat features a good variety of different styled homes. It has quite a few chalet styled homes, yet it has many other homes too. There are some truly elegant more conventional styled homes. There are also rustic homes, cabins, you name it! In fact, a home in Wildcat was even featured on the Today Show! No matter your taste in homes, you’re bound to find the perfect fit.
Gated Entrance
There are several local subdivisions that have a gated entrance. However, Wildcat features one of the nicer subdivision entrances. Each owner gets their own gate code and remote access. It’s quite the nice system and keeps folks that otherwise might roam around.
Land in Wildcat
The beautiful entrance leads to a couple hundred lots. Lots range from close neighbors, to extremely private, less than an acre, and to more than 3 acres. There’s truly a wide variety to choose from! There’s also room for future development.
Restrictions
In most of Murphy NC, land use is governed by deed restrictions and not zoning. Wildcat Subdivision is no different. The restrictions are quite common for what we’re used to here. - 1,400 square foot minimum
- No junk cars or appliances
- Satellite dishes must be less than 36 inches
- No mobile homes
- Cannot live in campers but ones may be stored on the property
- No commercial animals/livestock
- No noxious activities or nuisances are allowed on the property
- They’re basically things you’d likely want! 😉
