Fort Butler Memorial Park in Murphy NCLocated in downtown Murphy NC on an aptly named Fort Butler Street, the site of Fort Butler can be found as a memorial to the location that spearheaded the removal of the Cherokee Indians to Oklahoma in 1837 on the Trail of Tears. Today, all that remains is a small memorial park you can easily find on Fort Butler Street. It’s probably only a 1/2 mile on the right. You’ll see the memorial stone right off the side of the road.

From the first visit to “our” house to the closing was about 5 weeks!  Make and I were impressed that Donna Srabian always followed up and did what she said she would do!  We know she had other clients and was very busy, but she made us feel that we were the only ones and most important to her.

Donna is fast, efficient, and professional.  She talks fast, thinks fast and has a good sense of humor.  And, she can still drive the car and fine her way around the mountains at the same time.

After the closing, she gave us a plaque with a John Muir quote.  The plaque is appreciated and will be displayed prominently.  It is also a reminder of the woman who took us to our new home.
