We started our professional relationship with Mountain Country Cabin Rentals/RE-MAX in October of 2009. We had relocated to Florida from New York after I retired from the New York Police Department. It only took a short time to make me realize just how much I missed the beauty of the full season. We rented “The Hardwood Trail Retreat”, which was in absolutely beautiful cabin in the woods. That was all it took for us to be hooked with the small town charm of Murphy. We decided immediately that this was where we were going to buy our mountain property, on which we plan on building our very own “Cabin Retreat”. We asked Amanda (our rental agent) to put us in touch with a realtor and she put us in touch with John Poltrock.
We were not immediately able to buy, but that did not stop John from assisting us with finding our dream lot. We live in Central Florida and had an undeveloped piece of property in Murphy for many years.
