We’re back in the office from our cruise to the Bahamas! It’s my first ever cruise, and we had a great time! We traveled on Royal Caribbean on the Sovereign of the Seas, which happens to be RC’s oldest ship. We were gone all last week and are now back in the office and running! I think the hardest thing to get back into the swing of things will be the lack of endless buffets!

Murphy, NC — March 21, 2008 — John and Jessica Poltrock have just returned from their stay in Greensboro, NC where they completed a highly specialize course in residential real estate buyer sales strategies conducted by the Council of Residential Specialists of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS.
The course is one in a series of professional education sequences required to qualify for the coveted Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation. Learn why you should demand to work with a CRS and how we work.
"The growing importance of negotiation as well as sales strategies in today’s residential real estate market were addressed by the instructor of the course," said Jessica. "The many and varied needs of the buyer, who is making what is probably the largest single purchase of a lifetime, is dealt with in this advanced course."
The segments of the course included counseling techniques, understanding human behavior, and professional knowledge of the required steps in the real estate sales sequence.
The Council of Residential Specialists Courses are presented throughout the U.S. in affiliation with the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS, as part of its on-going program of promoting professionalism of the residential sales associates.
The completion of this course leaves John less than three months from obtaining CRS Designation for paperwork processing. Jessica lacks a mere one course.

Congratulations! You’re now a year wiser 
Little do you know that you have a everything-made-from-scratch-and-organic-home-cooked-meal-by-your-favorite-husband. On the menu, pork tenderloins with a fruit salsa, fresh sesame asparagus, sweet potato and apple casserole, biscuits, mac & cheese (for the kids in attendance, of course!), and a home made German chocolate cake!

Pat Davis (Nana), Fred Davis (Pop-Pop), Jack Poltrock (Dad), and Tina Poltrock (Mom) came in and stayed at one of the cabins we have for sale in Tarheel West. First night together =’s dinner at Enrico’s Italian Restaurant in Hiawassee, Georgia. Wow - GREAT food. It’s amazing how good times with family revolves around food! A huge Thanksgiving dinner at my in-laws and then the next night at Rib Country - I’m going to need to run a few extra days next week!
Dad and Pop-Pop found Home Depot and the two flea markets in Murphy. Decker’s and Foster’s flea markets are full of stuff - everything from Rustic furniture at Froh’s, knives, decorations, clothes, and everything!
And now that they went home - at 6 o’clock in the morning nonetheless - we get ready to go back to the grindstone. I must admit though, I’m looking forward to it! We have so much going on that I can’t wait to get everything going again. So, with that said, we’ll see you at REMAX of Murphy first thing tomorrow morning!
