There’s both a Flood Plain and Watershed and you have to build your structure of the home above the Flood Plain.   • What is a septic permit and why is it provided? A septic permit gives you permission from the Cherokee County Environmental Health Department to install a residential septic permit on the property you buy.   • Can I bring my RV/Camper and enjoy my lot before I build a home? Yes! You may use your camper or RV for up to 30 days so long as you are occupying it.
