I was at the gas pumps yesterday and noticed several customers put $5-$10 in their tank and leave. I just stood there in awe. At first I thought that was pretty silly, thinking that when they get a few miles down the road they would need to stop for gas again! Then I realized that some people were barely making it, going from paycheck to paycheck, even before the gas prices skyrocketed! I was talking to my husband earlier and made the comment that some families are probably emotionally, physically, spiritatually AND financially in trouble. I don't know what the answer is for them but I do know that we need to keep them in our thoughts and prayers. We quickly run to the disaster victims aid so lets remember our neighbors!
