We live in Central Florida and had an undeveloped piece of property in Murphy for many years.  Over the past few years, we had spoken with various real estate agents when we were in the area about selling our property.  Each time, they said they would look at the property and be in touch, but they never contacted us with any interest of listing the property.

We came in contact with John Poltrock by mail and called him.  He looked at the property and said he would like to help us sell it.  We met with him when we were in the Murphy area on vacation.  At the time we met with John, he had already done his research!  He knew the best price to ask and was ready to show to prospective buyers!

We felt very comfortable leaving all the details to John!  He showed the property regularly and had several prospective buyers.  After approximately six months we had an offer we could accept.  We didn’t even have to leave Florida for the closing!

We contacted many realtors between Franklin and Murphy over a period of 18 months.  We found that often, when we emailed asking questions, we would not receive a reply.  John, however, ALWAYS answered every inquiry no matter how small!  The answers were prompt, thorough, and detailed.  John always left the door open for us to ask more questions if we needed to.   This communication by email and by phone was extremely helpful since we were in Florida.  Because we were living far away  we needed my mother to go and look at each property.  9 out of 10 realtors would not work with my mother because they did not see her as the decision maker.  We respected her opinion and John showed that her input was of value to the process.

From our first communication with John all the way up to the closing he was always right there to help.  We will highly recommend The Poltrock Team to all of our friends and co-workers.  John is more than a realtor who sold us our North Carolina home.  We consider him a friend and someone that we can still turn to if we have a question.

If I had one word to describe my real estate experience with The Poltrock Team it would be:  EXCELLENT!  They led me through the whole process with great advice and help.  John was friendly and outgoing.  He never hesitated to answer questions or research whatever I needed to know.  There were some minor repairs that I needed done around my house and John was able to recommend a contractor who was honest, reliable and did the job in short order.  I would recommend The Poltrock Team to anyone who wants to get the job done!!

We needed to sell our home and a separate piece of land.  So, here comes the POLTROCK TEAM @ RE/MAX ready to deliver.  That’s what they said – They would deliver.  They helped us by completing a market evaluation on both parcels that was very accurate. After coming home from Little Rock after a seven week stay our phone was buzzing and within TWO WEEKS John calls us and thinks he has two separate buyers – one for the land and one for the home.  Within 5 days, everything was basically finalized and can you believe both land and home were finalized on the same day!?  In these uncertain times in our economy, how many families are fortunate enough to have sold their home (at a fair price) and land at the same time?!

We are repeat customers.  And we are very satisfied!  The Poltrock Team at REMAX in Murphy, NC listed and closed on our home in just 61 days!!  We were a bit worried when we heard the average home sale in that area was 9 months, but we knew that if anyone could sell our home, John could!  Being out-of-state owners can make real estate transactions more stressful, but John was always prompt in addressing all our concerns and so patient with all our questions.  John posted wonderful pictures of our home and property.  Sometimes when we view the other properties for sale online, we cringe at the photos of a ladder or paint cans sitting in the middle of an otherwise well-kept room.  John takes the time to make sure your property is well advertised and constantly keeps you up to date.  He is such a hardworking, friendly, and likeable guy!  We would most definitely recommend him for all of your real estate needs.
