The world of RE/MAX Real Estate in Murphy, North Carolina was totally shattered today by the loss of Alan Worley. He died working on clearing a parcel of land behind the RE/MAX Cornerstone Professional Building from a head trauma caused by a tree hitting him. Our flag hangs at half mast in Alan’s honor today and forever in our hearts.
Funeral Services will be held on January 1, 2009 at 7 pm with visitation being from 5-7.

Alan was a great man married to our RE/MAX Office Manager, Patty Worley. He owned and operated T&A Construction with his son, Tommy Worley (T&A is for Tommy and Alan). For many of you here in Murphy, he has installed septic systems, done grading, and many other jobs to make our lives better. He leaves his wife Patty, son Tommy, and daughter Lisa behind. They are one of the best families in Murphy NC. He will be greatly missed.
Alan, we shall forever miss you. Your sudden and very unexpected death has shocked us all. I think I speak for everyone when I say we all envisioned you in our lives for many, many more years. Now that you’re in heaven, please watch over your family and all of us. God bless you.
